About the competition

Hack2BRIDGE Italy aims to accelerate and scale innovation in the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem by fostering effective matchmaking between industrial players and innovators, with the goal of co-developing high-potential solution that address the industry's most pressing challenges - culminating in a Demo Day final event.

1Who can participate in the initiative?

The initiative is open to a wide range of participants, including innovative SMEs, startups, scaleups, research centers, and freelancers. Multidisciplinary teams are encouraged.
Regarding the Demo Day, all types of stakeholders are welcome to take part.

2What is the minimum age to apply?

All participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

3Can I participate from outside Italy?

Yes, the Hack2BRIDGE Italy is open to residents of the EU27, as well as Norway, Iceland, and Switzerland.

4What language will the initiative be conducted in?

All activities, including mentoring, coaching and Demo Day presentations, will be conducted in English, unless there are preferences from any Italian team during the mentoring and coaching, or if the audience of the Demo Day turns to be Italian.

5What should I bring to the Demo Day event?

Participants should bring their own laptops, chargers, and any necessary personal equipment. Wi-Fi and basic infrastructure (desks, power strips, etc.) will be provided by the organisers.

6What are the application evaluation criteria?

Applicants will be based on:
- Alignment with market trends and industrial challenges
- Experience and distinctive competencies
- Potential of the proposed solution
Teams will be selected through a two-step process: a light assessment for initial screening, followed by a full assessment for shortlisted candidates.

7What support do selected teams receive?

The selected teams will receive tailored mentoring and coaching to define and enhance the innovative solution that will be pitched at the Demo Day event.

8Are there prizes?

Yes. Winning teams will be awarded:
- Cash prizes to support the development of their solution
- The opportunity to collaborate with industrial players

9Is there a Code of Conduct?

Yes. All participants must adhere to a Code of Conduct that promotes respect, inclusion, and professionalism. Activities involving hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or promotion of sensitive or harmful topics (e.g. violence, drugs, pornography) are strictly prohibited. Violations may result in disqualification.
