This project, funded by the European Union will facilitate alliances between pilot SMEs and tech-savvy SMEs & startups, as well as accelerate the deployment of innovative solutions in the market and enhance clusters’ cooperations to support SMEs across value chains.

Supporting SMEs in five industrial ecosystems

Our goal is to identify needs, disruptions, challenges, and opportunities related to technology adoption and help these five industrial ecosystems in their Industry 5.0 transition.

A new Catalogue showcasing the selected companies of BRIDGESMEs
The BRIDGESMEs project has launched a Catalogue to feature the companies selected in its Open Calls. Currently highlighting tech-savvy SMEs and their advanced solutions in automation, AI, and IoT, the Catalogue will soon include pilot SMEs. This platform promotes collaboration, innovation, and the transition to Industry 5.0, with featured companies participating in activities like hackathons, matchmaking events, and training sessions.

BRIDGESMEs selects 19 companies for the Pilot Call
The BRIDGESMEs consortium has selected 19 pilot companies and 19 tech-savvy companies to drive innovation and collaboration. Pilot SMEs will receive technical support and skills training, while tech-savvy companies will showcase their solutions and expand their markets. The Mobility, Transport, and Automotive (MTA) and Electronics ecosystems lead participation, with France, Austria, and Italy standing out.

BRIDGESMEs Pilot Call closed reaching its goals
The BRIDGESMEs Pilot Companies Call has closed with 27 applications received. Selected SMEs will gain support in adopting advanced technologies, with final selections announced in December. Tech-savvy partners will soon be revealed to collaborate with these pilot companies.

Success at the Tech-Savvy companies call of BRIDGESMEs
The Tech-savvy SMEs Call closed on July 2. More than 70 applications were received and more than half will be evaluated to, finally, select 15. A new call for traditional companies will be launched in September to further foster business collaboration.
