After an evaluation process, the BRIDGESMEs consortium has officially selected 19 pilot companies to participate in its call. From 27 applications received, these pilot companies were chosen to receive tailored support aimed at helping them adopt advanced technologies and improve their resilience.

In parallel, 19 tech-savvy companies have also been selected from over 70 applications submitted. These companies will offer innovative solutions and play a key role in collaborating with the pilot SMEs to address their technological challenges.

The companies selected in both calls will receive a wide range of support to help them grow and innovate. Pilot companies, which are traditional SMEs looking to adopt advanced technologies, will benefit from technical assistance to identify and overcome technological barriers, training to improve their employees’ skills, and support to develop business strategies. They will also get help in accessing public and private funding opportunities to support their investments. Tech-savvy companies, on the other hand, will gain the chance to showcase their innovative solutions, connect with potential clients, and expand their market opportunities. Both groups will take part in networking activities, hackathons, and matchmaking events to build partnerships that drive the adoption of new technologies and improve collaboration between businesses, among the activities that will be organised within the BRIDGESMEs project.

Additionally, the Mobility, Transport, and Automotive (MTA) and Electronics ecosystems have emerged as the most represented, with strong participation from companies across Europe. France, Austria, and Italy stand out as the countries contributing the largest number of companies in both calls, demonstrating their commitment to innovation and technological transformation.

To highlight these selected companies, project partners are developing an online catalogue that will showcase their profiles. This platform will connect the selected pilot and tech-savvy SMEs with stakeholders across Europe, making it easier for other businesses, organisations, and stakeholders across Europe to learn about their work and connect with them.
