The final hackathon of the Hack2BRIDGE series, part of the BRIDGESMEs project, culminated on 11 November 2025 with a Demo Day held at the PwC Tower in Milan. Organised by ANFIA and PwC Italy, the event brought together companies, startups and professionals from the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem to pitch innovative solutions and explore new forms of collaboration.
Hack2BRIDGE Italy followed a hybrid specific model: participants first took part in an online support programme featuring dedicated mentoring sessions and industry-led challenges. This preparatory phase enabled them to shape and develop their proposals with expert guidance over several weeks. The process culminated in the Demo Day, held on 11 November at the PwC Tower in Milan, where five finalist teams pitched their solutions live in front of an audience of stakeholders from the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem.
The selected teams were Winduction AG, Easyrain, Novac, Viber Alert and GoPlugable EV Charging, each presenting innovative approaches to the sector’s pressing challenges. Their pitches generated strong interest from companies attending the event, opening the door to potential future collaborations.
Throughout the day, attendees heard presentations from key organisations in the sector, including a keynote by MegaRide, and joined a round table discussion on how to avoid unproductive innovation investments. The final session was dedicated to the pitch presentations, followed by an open networking lunch. Finally, three teams were recognised for the quality and potential of their projects: Winduction, awarded first place and a €5,000 prize along with access to a strategic planning programme provided by PwC Italy; Easyrain, second place, receiving €3,000, and Novac, third place, awarded €1,000.
The event also served as a platform for future connections, with strong interest shown in several of the solutions presented. As the last hackathon in the Hack2BRIDGE series, this edition highlighted the strength of European SMEs and startups to co-develop new ideas in response to real industry challenges, closing the cycle of events with a strong focus on collaboration and innovation in the MTA ecosystem.
