The Hack2BRIDGE hackathon series continues with a new edition in France, bringing together startups, SMEs, researchers, students and innovators to tackle pressing challenges in the Aerospace & Defence sector.
Organised under the BRIDGESMEs project and hosted by Arts et Métiers Bordeaux-Talence School, Aerospace Valley and Bordeaux Technowest the event will take place on 3–4 October 2025 in Talence, near Bordeaux. Participants will work in teams, of at least two people, to develop innovative solutions to real industry needs, with the support of experienced mentors and sector experts.
The challenges addressed in this edition include:
- Battery lifecycle management for drones
- XR-based training for equipment operators
- Robotic automation in aeronautical systems
- Data extraction from aircraft engine logbooks
At the end of the two-day programme, teams will pitch their solutions in front of a professional jury. The most promising projects will be awarded prizes and gain visibility among potential partners and investors.
Participation is free of charge, and the hackathon will be held in hybrid format to allow both on-site and remote involvement. All details, updates and registration can be found in the page of the event: https://bridgesmes.eu/hack2bridge/france
