On 8 September 2026, from 15:00 to 16:30 CEST, BRIDGESMEs will host its third Peer Review Meeting online under the title “Beyond one-size-fits-all: tailored services and modular tools for SME transformation”
The session will focus on the policy pillar personalised support and flexible pathways, addressing the growing need for customised support strategies for SMEs. As companies are at different stages of their digital and sustainability transitions, standard approaches are becoming less effective, while clusters and innovation intermediaries are increasingly called to develop adaptable tools, modular services and tailored support pathways.
During the meeting, participants will explore how to co-design flexible support models, improve access to resources and training, and better respond to the needs of underrepresented sectors, including cultural and creative SMEs. The discussion will also look at how good practices can be transferred across clusters, with a focus on strengthening inter-cluster cooperation both within and across sectors in support of Industry 5.0.
The session is expected to include contributions from Antonia Gravagnuolo, CNR ISPC, Luca Palazzo, Eutalia, Bruno Fanini, CNR ISPC, Simona Jursová, VSB Technical University of Ostrava, and other invited speakers, with interventions addressing EU programmes, Industry 5.0, research infrastructures, skills development and BRIDGESMEs training activities.
To support the development of the project’s policy recommendations, the meeting will include a facilitated discussion using Mentimeter. Participants will be invited to share their input through guided questions, helping to identify effective collaboration mechanisms and define key areas for long-term cooperation beyond the project’s lifetime.
The Peer Review Meeting is open to clusters, SMEs, innovation intermediaries, public institutions and other stakeholders interested in SME transformation, Industry 5.0 and advanced technology adoption.
