The French edition of the Hack2BRIDGE hackathon came to a close on 6 November 2025 with a pitch session held at The Cockpit in Mérignac, where participants presented the innovative solutions they developed in response to key challenges in the Aerospace & Defence ecosystem.

Organised by Aerospace Valley and Bordeaux Technowest under the BRIDGESMEs project, the event was designed to foster collaboration between startups, entrepreneurs and industry stakeholders. During the online hacking phase, participating teams worked on four real-world challenges linked to the Aerospace & Defence ecosystem. These included solutions to extend the lifecycle of drone batteries, implement XR technologies for operator training in drone manufacturing, develop robotic and cobotic systems for aeronautical testing and surface operations, and automate data extraction from engine logbooks.

After several weeks of development and mentoring, the top teams were invited to pitch their projects live to a jury of experts. Two awards were granted at the end of the event:

  • The Emergence Award went to PI Project, led by Paul Provost and Louis Provost, who will now enter a six-month incubation programme at Bordeaux Technowest.

  • The Resilience Award was given to DARYL, represented by Samuel Boury and Ilyas Khiat, who will benefit from pitch training delivered by Aerospace Valley.
