The third and final session of the Immersive Futures webinar series will be held on 24 November 2025 at 15:30 CET, closing a cycle of events focused on how immersive technologies are transforming the Cultural and Creative Industries and the Tourism ecosystems.
Organised by the Institute of Heritage Science of the Italian National Research Council (CNR ISPC) in the framework of the BRIDGESMEs project, the session will highlight practical applications of Extended Reality (XR), the Metaverse, and interactive 3D technologies that enable new ways to create, communicate, and engage with audiences.
The session will include presentations from Herbert Maschner (Global Digital Heritage), Aris Tsevrenis (Terahard), Aliki Iovita and Natasha Papathoma (Narratologies), and Teresa Borges Tiago (University of the Azores), who will share insights into how immersive solutions are being integrated into tourism experiences, cultural spaces, and storytelling strategies, helping SMEs to innovate and grow.
This event is part of the BRIDGESMEs capacity-building programme, which offers webinars, peer-review meetings, and policy labs to strengthen SME innovation in line with the principles of Industry 5.0.
