Call for Expression of Interest of Tech-savvy Companies.

With the aim of identifying potential SMEs willingness to participate in the BRIDGESMEs project activities and receive our supporting services, two separate calls for the Expression of Interest will be launched, one addressed to tech-savvy SMEs and start-ups and the other to pilot SMEs (tech-adopters).

After the evaluation of the different candidates, the BRIDGESMEs consortium will select 30 beneficiaries, 15 on the supply side and the rest on the demand side. These companies will be provided with a dedicated supporting package and networking opportunities to further advance in their collaboration process.

What do we offer

A dedicated support package for the selected tech-savvy SMEs and startups, which will include the following benefits:

The technological and financial maturity of technologically advanced SMEs will be addressed on a case-by-case basis to identify the level of investment readiness.
Ad-hoc business support services will be provided. Moreover, the project will boost the business competences of tech-savvy SMEs by delivering different webinars.
Scouting of equity, debt, hybrid instruments and grants funding sources, with a particular focus on boosting and accelerating the transition towards Industry 5.0.
The establishment of new collaborations between SMEs will be achieved through the organisation of hackathons and match-making events for direct bridging.
Access to carefully selected, and experienced mentors who will provide guidance, support, training and valuable insights tailored to each founder and designed to help them succeed in their business ventures.
The project will launch further initiatives to promote the uptake of advanced technologies and the dissemination of Industry 5.0 best practices.

Who can apply

SMEs and start-ups that:

  • Develop hardware and/or software technologies.
  • Provide solutions for one or more of the BRIDGESMEs targeted five sectors: (1) Mobility, Transport & Automotive; (2) Aerospace & Defence; (3) Cultural & Creative Industries; (4) Electronics and (5) Tourism.
  • Are established in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country.
