The Call for Pilot SMEs of the European BRIDGESMEs project closed on October 28. A total of 27 applications were received from companies across Europe, underscoring the interest in fostering resilience and technological advancement within traditional industries.
This call is designed to support traditional SMEs by providing them with the tools needed to adopt advanced technologies and strengthen their resilience. Selected companies will benefit from technical assistance, business support, access to funding, networking opportunities, and specialized training in advanced technologies. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between traditional SMEs and technology innovators, driving collaboration and cross-sector growth.
The applications will now be evaluated by the project consortium, with final selections to be announced in December. Meanwhile, the BRIDGESMEs project will soon reveal the selected tech-savvy SMEs from its call, who will be connected with these pilot companies to foster innovation and create strategic business alliances.
